Accommodation

Avrajita accommodates a total of 24 people. Accommodation in the bedroom pavilions consists of 6 spacious guest rooms, each with a private ensuite, sleeping a total of 20 guests. All rooms have fans, heating, bush views and open onto a sunny courtyard garden.

Bedrooms have been designed with guests’ comfort and needs in mind.

  • timber king-single bunks and single beds with comfortable, quality mattresses
  • pillows, doonas, plush microfibre blankets
  • sheets, pillowcases and bath towels
  • built-in robes for suitcases and clothes
  • ensuite bathroom with separate toilet

There is additional accommodation for 3-4 people in The Shed. We can also offer several bedroom configurations to accommodate requests for single/twin/double rooms.

Dining

The dining room provides seated dining for 24 people, although it can easliy accommodate larger numbers for functions or special events. Glass louvre windows allow you to enjoy the morning sun all year round, as well as stunning views of the garden and surrounding cliff faces. French doors open onto a covered verandah that wraps around the house.

Guest lounge

This spacious, open-plan lounge area enjoys a myriad of views across the property. In summer, wide doors open onto the verandah, so you can enjoy the cool of the evening. In winter, the slow combustion fire will keep you warm and cosy! Differing arrangements of modular lounges, coffee tables and exotic decor create intimate settings for relaxing and chatting with friends.

Chef-style kitchen

Most groups prefer to self-cater, bringing their favourite chef or kitchen team. With this in mind, we have created a sleek, chef-style kitchen to be envious of!

  • plenty of bench space and large enough for a catering team
  • opens onto a buffet-style serving area
  • 6 burner gas cooktop, including wok burner
  • 2 full size electric wall ovens, to avoid congestion when both cooktop and ovens are in use
  • commercial ‘3 minute-wash’ dishwasher and deep sinks for washing big pots and pans!
  • separate sink with a Zip ‘Hydrotap’ - instant boiling water for tea and coffee
  • huge side-by-side fridge/freezer plus a second fridge
  • top-quality cookware and bakeware specifically for cooking for large numbers of people
  • full range of kitchen appliances
  • all dinnerware, glassware, cutlery, serving platters/bowls
  • ALL water to the house is UV filtered rainwater

If you prefer not to cook, we recommend several excellent caterers who can either deliver your food or prepare it in the Avrajita kitchen.

Treatment/consultation rooms

For your convenience, 2 private rooms have been set aside for treatment or consultation. Set up massage tables or table and chairs. You also have the use of a bathroom with large bath and separate shower.
